About the Event
The 2023 COMIT2 Digital conference presented the latest projects, developments, and upcoming technologies that will contribute to productivity gains. The COMIT conferences provide educational networking opportunities enable industry members to demonstrate innovative practices using technology and process improvement.
As a global community of capital project professionals and stakeholders, COMIT projects gathers members and guests in conference at least once a year to discuss advancements in productivity, as well as new and emerging technologies. We had 2 days of networking and fabulous presentations, including:

Alexandra Luck - BEIS
Alexandra Luck is a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers, a Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation, and a Member of the Register of Security Engineers and Specialists.
She has a wealth of experience in issues pertaining to asset management, BIM, digital built environments, intelligent transport systems, management of information and security-minded approaches.
Accumulating expertise through several engineering roles, Alexandra specialises in the development, implementation, management and auditing of proportionate and structured management systems, policies and processes as well as the development and delivery of programmes within these disciplines.
She is currently Joint Policy Lead for the National Digital Twin Programme.

Iain Miskimmin is an infrastructure industry digital advisor, director of COMIT and a reservist officer in the Royal Engineers.
With over 20 years’ experience in delivering innovations into construction and BIM/ Digital advice to organisations all over the world, he is now part of the National Digital Twin Programme utilising his military, industry and technology skills to forward the UK’s Digital journey.

Ian Baily - Telicent
Ian Bailey is an experienced startup CTO with an emphasis on data integration and data science. He is a globally recognised enterprise architecture authority and has been lead architect on £Bn budget programmes as well as technical lead on the MOD and NATO architecture frameworks. Ian has represented UK Government and industry at international bodies. He holds a PhD in Data Mapping and a first degree in engineering.

He is focused on BIM and Plant software, Data-Centric Execution, Digital Twin, Building Information Modeling (BIM), Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) and Lean construction. Steve has been involved with COMIT since 2005 and has held the position as Chair for the Construction members of COMIT since 2016. Steve has over 20 years of experience in providing IT services in the construction industry and he is currently the IT Site Services Manager for Wates Group, one of the leading privately-owned, construction, development and property services companies in the UK, he is responsible for ensuring project sites and offices have the right connectivity and IT services.
Steve is leading the COMIT25G project and is eager to explore how 5G can transform the construction industry. He is passionate about technology innovation in construction and how this can be to utilised to improve productivity on project sites.

Jordan Cannon serves as Pre-Sales Manager at lnEight, located in Amsterdam, Netherlands supporting the EMEA region. As an experienced construction professional for over 10 years, Jordan has been “boots on the ground” in industrial, power, oil and gas, and commercial building projects, serving in a variety of roles.
Jordan and his team leverage their industry experience to truly connect with customers and help guide them to making the right digitisation decisions. Jordan holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in civil engineering from Clemson University.

Andy leads the COMIT2 Safety Project and has made this happen, week in week out, meeting for a brief session, he has made sure that the agenda is set and that we stick to it.
